Sister Yvonne Perkins worked as a volunteer with Evangelist Rose Mary Blackwell in the Standing In The Gap Ministry for over 20 years. Her first assignment was to prepare handouts and greet the people at the door. This volunteer assignment has turned into a fully formed For His Glory Standing In The Gap ministry, where her key focus lies on developing, training, and leading people to become intercessors. Out of this ministry came a book on training these aforementioned students turned intercessors.

 

Sister Yvonne needed an individual to craft and edit her book into a compelling story on her experiences and insight into becoming an intercessor. I stepped in an edited and put together her book, designed the cover using Canva, published a kindle and paperback version using Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing System, and assisted her in other areas including technology operations for her courses via Zoom.

The two-month project consisted of copyediting the entire training guide on intercessory prayer (185 pages), publishing both the Kindle ebook and paperback version on Amazon, and promoting the book via social media to ensure the optimal amount of registrants for the 4-week course. As of November 2020, she has begun hosting classes and continues to spread the gospel and power of intercessory prayer through her ministry.
