My role with the OKC Thunder provides me an opportunity to oversee all elements of social media and lead a team to produce the highest-quality content in the social space. Lead growth of social channels - key follower growth on @okcthunder includes 32% TikTok, 20% LinkedIn, 13% YouTube, and 9% on Instagram since September 2022 In collaboration with Broadcast Production team, earned the Thunder a YouTube Silver award; led social activation of NBA All-Star 2023 and NBA All-Star 2024, coinciding with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander earning his first All-Star appearance and All-Star Starter appearance Generated 4,700+ unique leads and 2,200+ new marketing leads

Showcasing Minor League Basketball In a Major Way

My role with the Wisconsin Herd provided me an opportunity to oversee retail promotion, social, email marketing, design and all areas of branding in the marketing and digital space. I’ve increased the Herd's Instagram following by 25 percent, Facebook page likes by 40 percent, Facebook page followers by 42 percent, and Twitter followers by 45 percent, while increasing the team's email opt-ins by 51 percent. Ranked consistently in the top 10 in social engagement and impressions on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook across the NBA G League.

CREATING CONTENT IN INDEPENDENT BASEBALL

Created over 1,300 social posts through GIFS, short-form videos, long-form videos in conjunction with video team and handled all photography for external marketing use. Increased the Revolution's Facebook page likes by 15 percent, organic Facebook post reach by 30 percent and Instagram followers by 30 percent; Increased in-season year-over-year Twitter impressions by 150 percent, link clicks by 33 percent, likes by 424 percent and retweets by 61 percent.

Created Beyond the Game, a photo and video social media series that told the story of PeoplesBank Park and York that consistently generated a 30 percent higher organic post reach on Facebook and Instagram.

NORTHWESTERN MSA CAPSTONE: NHL EXPANSION STUDY

Market Research and Target Market Analysis

As part of Northwestern's Sports Administration Master's program capstone, I conducted a market analysis on Milwaukee as the NHL's next expansion city. I also looked at the history of hockey, amateur hockey in Wisconsin, fan loyalty and other key metrics. I also conducted a financial spreadsheet, marketing and public relations plan with the creation of this team in a new market for the NHL. I received a 94/100 on this project.
